Your adventure begins with a pickup from your riad/hotel. We’ll head south, passing through the Middle Atlas mountains, stopping in Ifrane and Azrou.

We will visit the cedar forests to see the Barbary Apes in their natural habitat. Traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass, we’ll reach Midelt and the stunning Ziz Gorges, where volcanic rock has carved dramatic landscapes. As we approach Errachidia, the scenery shifts to the edge of the desert.

After lunch, we’ll continue through Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Rissani, before arriving in Merzouga. After a refreshing glass of mint tea, we’ll set out for a camel ride to a Berber camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes. After about 1.5 hours, we’ll reach the camp, where Berber tents await for a night under the stars. Enjoy a hearty dinner and traditional Berber drum music around the campfire.

Start your day early to watch the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes. After breakfast and a hot shower in the camp, we’ll return to Merzouga by camel or 4WD (your choice).

Next, we head to Tinghir, also known as “the city of the mountain,” where we’ll admire the contrast of palm trees and colorful houses. From there, we’ll visit the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges, where rock walls soar over 200 meters. Continuing on, we’ll reach the Dades Valley, famous for its picturesque gorges and stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. We’ll stay overnight in a charming riad.

Today, we’ll drive through the Valley of Dades and the Valley of Roses on our way to Ouarzazate. Here, we’ll visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt.

Continuing on, we’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a famous film set for blockbusters like “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Gladiator.” After the visit, we’ll drive through the scenic Tizi N-Tichka pass, offering stunning views of the High Atlas mountains, before arriving in Marrakech to end our desert adventure.
