Our first highlight is the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its striking architecture and role in several Hollywood blockbusters like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones.
Ait Ben Haddou was listed as a UNESCO site in 1987 due to its rich history and photogenic appeal. Afterward, we continue to Ouarzazate, where we visit the famous Kasbah Taourirte, before enjoying a leisurely lunch.
In the afternoon, we travel through the Valley of the Roses and on to Boumalne Dades, a small town in Tinghir Province, arriving at our traditional riad nestled in the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in your choice of private room.
After breakfast, we set off to explore the Todra Gorge, the highest gorge in Morocco and a popular spot for alpinists. This scenic route also passes through rivers, palm groves, and old kasbahs, providing plenty of photo opportunities.
Next, we continue towards Erfoud, passing through Berber villages before reaching Merzouga, where camels await for a thrilling trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience the sunset and spend the night in an authentic desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and a star-filled sky.
Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a shower, you’ll ride back to the departure point on camelback, or you can opt for a 4×4 transfer.
We then begin our journey back to Marrakech, taking a different route via Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, N’kob, and Agdz in the Draa Valley. We’ll stop for lunch along the way before continuing our trip through the High Atlas Mountains.
Finally, we return to Marrakech, where the tour concludes, and our services come to an end.
